My name is Yveson, I live in St Marc, I am 21 years old.

My friend Emmanuel was the one to tell me that it was important for me to get tested. He insisted. So when I finally found the strength, I went and got tested. The test came out positive. Emmanuel took me to a bunch of seminars, and these trainings gave me a lot of strength. Getting tested was a clear decision. Whether I had HIV or not, I was ready.

When I take photos, I take them step by step, so when people are looking at them, they see a continuation: 1, 2, 3, and 4. I feel very proud and I love the colors of my photos, and I will always continue making photos. When you have HIV, it is not the end of life, but rather a new relationship with society and towards yourself as well.
